Overview

The ultimate 90s hip hop and R&B live show will take over Auckland Town Hall on Saturday, August 7.

Breaks N' Brass will see some of the country's best-known emcees backed by a 16-piece brass band and five-piece rhythm section. Together on stage, the collective will take on some of the biggest hip hop and R&B bangers from the decade.

Performers including Ché-Fu, Ria Hall, Tali, King Kapisi, Rubi Du and DJ Manchoo will pay tribute to their musical influences and share versions of classic tunes — like Blackstreet's 'No Diggity', Salt-N-Pepa's 'Shoop' and Arrested Development's 'People Everyday'.

Tickets go on sale from Monday, May 17 from Ticketmaster.
