Unlimited feasts are the new way to start off the weekend, and Morepork BBQ is the latest establishment to jump on the trend of stuffing your face with its inaugural Butchers Breakfast. On 5 August, the Ponsonby-based low 'n' slow barbecuers will expand upon their usual menu of pulled pork and smoky brisket to cook up a storm for an all-you-can-eat American-themed breakfast buffet.
The $50 price comes with two hair of the dog concoctions, including a Tennessee coffee with an accompanying shot of Jack and a breakfast cocktail. From there, the buffet will include the full spread of American breakfast classics like biscuits and gravy, chicken waffles, brisket hash and baskets of fried chicken.
The Butchers Breakfast will run from 11am to 2pm. Tickets are strictly limited, so get in quick.
