How many of us are guilty of claiming to our nearest and dearest that "we must catch up before Christmas!" and then allowing the month of December to slip past without doing anything about it? All of us? Cool.
Well cut the stress — Britomart eatery Café Hanoi has done the organisational hard yards with a 'Girls pre-Christmas catch-up' lunch special, offering a four-course, seven dish menu for only $55pp throughout the month of December.
Head along to the Asian/French fusion eatery in its brand new split-level home in the Hotel Britomart laneway (right next door to its old location), with a group of at least two, and cheers to the end of a bloody long year.
On the menu are some of Café Hanoi's favourites: Green papaya salad with tiger prawns, the famous crispy turmeric rice pancake w duck prosciutto and shiitake, and grilled Wagyu beef bavette with fish sauce caramel. Don't worry about your vegetarian and vegan friends; they'll all be catered to accordingly. And hey, it's the silly season — you can choose from two different wine matches: an NZ Wine match for $40 or a French wine match for $50.
Available 12pm — 3.30pm daily from Friday, December 3 until Thursday, December 23, this might just be the answer to all your festive season organizational worries.
