Carl Donnelly

Overview

One of the highlights of last years festival, British comic Carl Donnelly had no choice but to return to our shores in 2015. Donnelly had the entire 2014 Old Mout Cider Comedy Gala audience in fits of laughter with his re-enactment of a near-death crumpet-eating experience.

His very English, understated, conversational style and unique views on the state of the world and how we should be dealing with it, have been referred to as “gripping, unmissable stand-up” by The Guardian.

Donelly's 2015 set is simply called Back With A New Show, expect a humorous look at things as pressing as a divorce, family history, and his insecurities.
