Overview
Attendees at this year's Auckland Cup Week can expect more than your average refreshment station. Cocktails &. is a pop-up bar from LAB 5 Agency, touted as "a sensory, cocktail experience with a tropical vibe."
Inspired by Ellerslie Racecourse's Aisle of Palms, the bar will feature a cocktail menu that pays homage to racing traditions and previous champions. Mikey Ball of award-winning London bar, Dandelyan, has put his twist on classic beverages including the collins, mojito and julep. The two headline beverages will be the Flagship Nelson, a sparkling gin sour inspired by the iconic Navy ration drink, and Beaton's Cooler, an ode to the Kentucky Derby Mint Julep.
Located alongside the Cocktails &. activation on the Fashion Lawn will be mobile food vendors Ha! Poke and Temaki Truck.
