Overview

There ain't nothing quite like country music, is there, partner? First popping up in the American South more or less a century ago, it's a simple yet satisfying genre that has found fans worldwide. Some of the most recognisable artists in history have been country singers — with a podium including Dolly Parton, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Shania Twain, Kenny Rogers and more.

If you know or love any of the above artists, you'd best secure some tickets to the upcoming Country by Candlelight tour. Having sold out theatres across the UK, it's headed down south (or down under, in this case) to tour across Australia and Aotearoa throughout February and March.

First up is a whirlwind tour through Aotearoa's capitals, so you'd better book fast. The tour kicks off on Sunday, February 15, at Auckland's Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre before it heads to St James Theatre in Wellington for a Thursday night show on February 19. The last show before it heads across the ditch is at Christchurch Town Hall on Sunday, February 22. Each show starts at 7.30pm and should wrap up (encores notwithstanding) by 10pm.

Country by Candlelight will tour across cities in Australia and New Zealand from Sunday, February 15 to Sunday, March 22. For more information or to book tickets, visit the website.
