Overview
The Designer Selection Shows are an insight into the workings of New Zealand Fashion Week without all the media madness and lengthy show introductions and suspense-building. Basically a "best of NZFW" summary, made user-friendly yet still fashion-filled for audiences wanting a glimpse of this season's style, the Designer Shows are packed into a compact yet action-packed 40 minutes on the runway.
Sponsored by Resene, the focus of the event is colour, and helping us conservative folk can clamber out of our black-wearing fashion rut. As well as showcasing New Zealand's top designers and their season's looks, the shows feature additional walks by crowd-favourite underwear brands, Bonds and Jockey.
