Overview

Dizzee Rascal has returned to New Zealand for a headline show.

Dizzee burst on to the scene at the age of 19 with his raw and distinctly British sound that blends grime, garage and bassline. His debut album Boy In Da Corner went on to win the coveted Mercury Prize – further cementing his status within the hip hop galaxy and making him the youngest person to receive the accolade.

Ten years later and he can count five albums to his name and claim gold status in NZ with singles ‘Holiday’ and the Calvin Harris colab 'Dance Wiv Me', and platinum status with 2009 single, ‘Bonkers’.

This visit will support the release of his fifth album, conveniently titled The Fifth.
