Overview

The Drawing Room puts a new spin on life drawing, blending drawing with storytelling, live music and adding a healthy dose of humour.

Taking place at Lovebucket Bar, a tucked away late-night tavern on K' Road, the model will be Ash Jones portraying a gothic character. He will strike a variety of brain-bending poses while Louis Newton provides music fitting for such an occasion. With poses that are 'memorable' and 'outlandish', and psychedelic beats creating the ambient backdrop, allow yourself to be inspired.

According to the producers of the event, you decide entirely how you want to depict the model while receiving some guidance from the event hosts. Your imagination is the only limit.

Awards will be given to crowd favourites and at the end of the evening you can take your portfolio of memories home. The event is R18 and tickets are $12. The event lasts for two hours, from 7–9pm, with two breaks. Attendees are expected to bring their own art supplies.
