Electra Sinclair Opening

Overview

Auckland-based illustrator, architect and graphic designer Electra Sinclair is having her debut art show at Portland Public House on August 8.

The daughter of two architects come film art directors - her father, Kim Sinclair, won the Oscar and BAFTA for Art Direction on the film Avatar - Electra Sinclair was constantly exposed to creative works of film, architecture, design and music while growing up. She went on to study architecture at university, although her main interest lies in vector illustration and graphic design.  She recently designed Yolanda's first EP as well as a promotional image for rapper Randa which ended up being published in VICE.

The free event starts at 7pm. Auckland rapper Randa will be performing a live set at 10pm.
