Estere: Into the Belly of Capricorn
The inventive songwriter brings her brand of 'electric blue witch-hop' to Auckland.
Overview
In line with this year's Auckland Arts Festival, Estère presents Into the Belly of Capricorn. The inventive songwriter and producer will take the stage inside the Aotea Square spiegeltent for one night only this March. The evening will see Estère perform tracks from her soon-to-be-released third album, best described as 'electric blue witch-hop', which weaves together elements of R&B, folk and electronic music.
Into the Belly of Capricorn braids together music, theatre, design, lighting and costume, and has been created in collaboration with opera/theatre director Sara Brodie, lighting designer Jo Kilgour and audio-visual artist Kaysha Bowler.
