Overview

The guys who provided the soundtrack to the first season of Friday Night Lights are back with a new album and a tour, cos that's just what you do.

All the way from Texas y'all, Explosions in the Sky are here to promote their new album Take Care, Take Care, Take Care, an EP with a cinematic sound, elaborate guitar work, and something that sounds a little bit like outer space.

A band which begun with a flier in a record which read: "WANTED: sad triumphant rock band",  11 years on they have a reputation for delivering some of the most enthusiastic and emotional live shows you'll ever bare witness.

Perfectly set at the Kings Arms this Friday, this will be that gig you remember perfectly rounding off the bittersweet year that was 2011.
