Federal Street Festival

Overview

Federal Street Festival returns for another year of street food, music and activities. From 4pm until 10pm, Friday evening will take on a party atmosphere with DJs spinning tunes and drinks flowing, whereas Saturday will be more of a family-friendly affair. Family activities on the Saturday will consist of cupcake decorating, bubble blowing and balloon animal making.

Setting up their stalls on the street will be a range of Federal Street's best restaurants. Serving up street food style offerings and mini versions of some of their classics will be: The Fed Deli, The Grill by Sean Connolly, Gusto, Masu, Andy's Burgers, Jade Dragon and The Kitchen by SkyCity.

Confirmed to headline the festival is Ladi6, whose music has been described as a mixture of soul and futuristic hip hop.

So with summer coming and a hopefully balmy evening, this festival is set to be one of the highlights of the year. Get amongst the twinkling fairly lights of Federal Street and enjoy some superb street food.
