Overview
Formerly held at the Kelliher Estate on Puketutu Island, this year Fiesta Del Sol is moving to the nearby Villa Maria Estate in Mangere.
Though Mangere doesn't scream luxury, Fiesta Del Sol is well known for attracting some of the high flyers of Auckland's social scene. It's certainly not for everyone but if you like a bit of glitz and glamour, and don't mind sneaking in a few photos in the Spy section of the Herald, then it's a great way to welcome in summer. There is even the option to arrive by helicopter but if that sounds a little pricey you can get a return bus ticket from the CBD for $18.
Spanish for 'Festival of the Sun', Fiesta Del Sol will have quite the European flavour, with local and international DJs, live musicians, gourmet food, secluded lounges, VIP tables, premium hospitality and an array of world class dancers and performers.
Fiesta Del Sol will be headlined by Italian house duo The Cube Guys. This will their first ever New Zealand show. Other highlights on the lineup include Karn Hall, DJ Reminise, and Kareem on Sax.
