Overview
The NZ International Comedy Festival may have been axed for 2020, but the laughs are set to return in a big way as we move to Alert Level 1. First Laugh is a live comedy event set to bring awareness and funds to Direct Relief, an international organisation whose mission is to improve the lives of those affected by COVID-19. Since January, the initiative has delivered more than four million N95 and surgical masks, more than two million gloves, and tens of thousands of protective suits and other items to help safeguard health workers.
Thirteen top comedians will take the stage across two shows at SkyCity Theatre. On board for the 90-minute shows are Cori Gonzalez-Macuer, Brendhan Lovegrove, The Fan Brigade, Jeremy Corbett, Paul Ego, Camille Solari and more. Tickets are the dirt-cheap price of $20 per show. Get them while you can.
