Overview

Are you fond of the occasional tipple? Of course you are. You probably clicked on this event listing the moment you saw the word 'cocktail' in its title. Well, good for you sir - especially this week when Orleans hosts its second annual Flight of the Cocktail from the 10th to the 14th of June.

It's a half week-long series of events dedicated to The Cocktail. You'll learn how to make a tiki cocktail so good you'll forget summer was months ago, you'll learn how to make margaritas, you'll "take part in a multi-sensory journey as they deconstruct and reconstruct familiar cocktails in ways that will challenge your preconceptions of what a cocktail can be", and you will drink many a cocktail. Oh, and there will also be some ancillary street food on sale, live music and festivities - which are free and open to the public.

Ticketed events (like the margarita masterclass) take place at Racket Bar from 7pm to 8pm every night of the festival. Visit their Facebook for more info.
