Overview

This Thursday The Kaiser Chiefs make their first trip to the land of the long white cloud with a highly anticipated show at the Powerstation. The show is part of an extended Australian tour and fans here will be rejoicing that they have finally made the trip across the ditch.

After a reasonably long hiatus the band returned in mid 2011 with their 4th album, The Future is Medieval, and their current tour coincides with the release of their singles collection SOUVENIR.

Without a doubt the band will bring a high energy performance and those lucky enough to have a ticket should be prepared to give their dancing shoes and vocal chords a good workout singing along to hits such as 'Ruby' and 'I Predict a Riot.'

If you still have some energy in your legs and manage to keep your voice check out the official after party at Cassette 9 in the city. The Kaiser Chiefs will be manning the decks from midnight to 2am and entry is free to those with concert tickets, get into it!
