Overview

British indie-rock band Florence and the Machine are heading back to Auckland with their How Big Tour after over three years of silence.

Their third studio album How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful debuted in the wake of front woman Florence Welch suffering tumultuous and “chaotic” years during the band’s hiatus. Rising to number one on the US Billboard 200, the raw album features singles 'What Kind of Man' and 'Ship to Wreck'. In the midst of their world tour, the band will be stopping by for one show to bring an evening of powerhouse art rock.

Infested with gold glitter and a sea of swaying flower crowns, the festival-like night will be an insouciant and fantastical night of artistry. Surrounded by Welch’s hauntingly sublime vocals, stirring lyrics and orchestral brilliance, it will indubitably exceed any expectations of what is ordinary. Welch is a force to be reckoned with.
