Overview
With her effortlessly pure voice and a stage presence akin to Glinda the Good Witch at Woodstock, Florence Welsh, frontwoman for Florence + The Machine, has seen her band rise from indie darlings to stadium fillers. Critics and fans alike have been enamoured by their three studio albums – Lungs (2009), Ceremonials (2011) and How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful (2015). The latter album saw them hit our shores for a sold-out performance.
They're returning to Spark Arena on 30 January, 2019 in support of their fourth studio album High as Hope. While still ethereal, the album sounds more weighted in reality and features collaborations with an eclectic array of musicians including Jamie XX and Kamasi Washington. Florence herself describes the album as a pure expression of "who I am now, as an artist, and an honest one."
Florence + The Machine have penned some of the most iconic singles of the last decade, including 'You've Got the Love', 'Dog Days are Over', and 'Spectrum (Say my name)'. Fans will get the opportunity to hear them and new music come January. Don't miss the chance to see perhaps the most joyous and wholesome concert of 2019.
