Overview

American record producer, musician, DJ, filmmaker and rapper Flying Lotus is bringing his one-of-a-kind show to New Zealand this January. The Los Angeles-based electronic artist will be performing Flying Lotus 3D in a one-off show at the Auckland Town Hall.

Those looking to attend will be provided with 3D glasses as they enter in order to be fully immersed in "a kaleidoscope of pulsing colours, textures or imagery," thanks to collaborators and Strangeloop and Timeboy. The result? Internationally acclaimed holographic visuals viewable from 120 to 140 degree angles within the Town Hall. Flying Lotus is a Grammy-nominated artist and surprised fans in 2019 by releasing his first album in five years — Flamangra.

If you caught Flying Lotus at his headline set at Laneway 2015, you'll know this is a show not to be missed. A unique electronic experience that forgoes the two-dimensional.
