Overview

Fronted by an Oxford local that once expressed a desire to write a ballet with beats, Foals return to New Zealand.

Once nominated for the 2010 Mercury Prize for best album, Foals are a band that only ever seem to improve with age. Since bursting onto the scene in early 2008 with the gold selling Antidotes, the Oxford math rockers have released two subsequent records, with latest effort Holy Fire described as being utterly sublime and their hottest yet.

Far from being more than five tiffs from the home of public schooling, Foals are a band with a reputation for savage and ferocious live shows. They last made their mark on our shores at 2011's Laneway festival, and demand for a return by this reckless and exhilarating band has been high. Not to be missed.
