Overview

Presenting four unique perspectives from four of New Zealand's most talented emerging choreographers, Four Leaps//One Point is a fitting tribute to the iconic contemporary work, Miniatures, by Malia Johnston.

Widely revered as one of our best-loved contemporary pieces, Miniatures explores beauty in the small things with this new generation of choreographers offering a fresh perspective of themes and insight into New Zealand's vibrant dance culture.

Earmarked as 'ones to watch', choreographers Amelia Chong, Bella Wilson, Celina Torres and Kerryanne Mayhew come armed with unique dance pedigrees, having racked up impressive industry achievements in their young careers.

Now, paired with some of the city's most talented dancers, expect to be in awe as the girls lead audience through four delightfully different, and dynamic dancer performances — all sharing the same leaping off point.
