Overview

Gather your friends and family together this July to celebrate and remember the legacy of one of the world's most admired leaders of freedom, Nelson Mandela. Held on the day of Mandela's birth, July 18, Eden Park will be transformed into an electric and inspiring homage to freedom, diversity and community. With an assortment of street food trucks, specialising in your favourite culinary treats from all around the globe.

Freedom coloured lights will illuminate the exterior of Eden Park and an exhibition dedicated to Nelson Mandela will be open for the public to explore. The exhibition is curated from the extensive collections of The Nelson Mandela Foundation in Johannesburg. The exhibition is full of rare personal artefacts, film footage and documents. Many of these pieces are being displayed for the first time ever, outside of South Africa.

The Mandela My Life exhibition is a ticketed event, however, the Freedom Food Truck Festival is free for all to attend. So, head on down to Eden Park on Nelson Mandela's birthday for a celebration of life, love, community and freedom.
