Fun
One Rolling Stone critic describes their second album as “classic bubble-pop tunefulness with rococo rock & roll.”
Overview
With their quirky, melodic hooks and vintage pop sounds having already propelled them to worldwide chart heights, Fun are coming to Auckland for the very first time.
With their singles We Are Young and Some Nights reaching number one and two respectively, Fun have experienced great success here in New Zealand. With all the theatrics of Queen attached to Kanye West beats the New York trio are something quite different indeed; huge sounding, packed with plenty of cheek.
While not to everyone’s taste Fun’s second album, Some Nights, has been praised by some of the world’s most well-respected magazines, with one Rolling Stone critic describing it as “classic bubble-pop tunefulness with rococo rock & roll.”
Fun’s success is driven by the connection they share with their fans, so expect an electric and remarkable night.
