When news broke in October that one of Auckland's most beloved night-time delights is to close its doors in the new year, many city-slickers cried out in despair. But fear not, there's still one last chance to enjoy Golden Dawn's unique brand of alternative Christmas revelry at its festive market on December 21.

Offering the ill-prepared a chance for last minute gift redemption, the pop-up-come-local-icon will fill itself with second-hand clothing, classic records, an assortment of hand-crafted jewellery, homemade vegan and gluten-free delights and more bric-a-brac that you can bang your head at.

A Christmas market peppered with Golden Dawn's own funky flavour, it's an excellent opportunity to support local, have some fun and tick a bit of admin off your Christmas to-do list – stay on past 8pm for ESP DJs and copious festive cocktails.
