Hoppers Halloween Party

Overview

Celebrating Halloween during our high school and uni years meant throwing on a half-ass costume and heading to some sticky beer-soaked party — these days we're more likely to be caught drinking wine in a corner while our friends' kids run around on a sugar high.

If both of those sound like unappealing options, may we suggest another? Ponsonby bar Hoppers is celebrating the scariest weekend of the year by turning their garden bar into an Addam's Family-esque haunted mansion for Halloween, complete with surreal circus acts, stilt walkers, fire breathers, and an extensive selection of "weird and wonderful" cocktails.

Running on Saturday, October 29 from 5pm until late, revel in the spooky season the right way. Costumes are not compulsory but highly encouraged so come dressed to scare.
