A battle between hops and grapes. This will be interesting. The brand new Sale Street Bistro has created this one off event, matching up Gisborne's Matawhero Wines up against 1010 Brewery, in the name of finding the perfect match to the three course meal.

For the $85 ticket price, you can expect to be treated to beer and wine for each course care of Brewer Mike Stimpson and Wine connoisseur Kristin Searle, while attempting to add your own opinion to what is the ultimate match.
