A change of pace for artist Tony Lane whose usual dark works have transitioned into the light, exploring the natural world and landscape.
Lane says, "Besides the obvious appearance of things, everything exists in a parallel world as a metaphor. When you are making a painting, you are taking the experience of things you look at in the real world and reconstitute them into an idea."
He was touted by the National Business Review as "one of the great icon painters of his age".
