Overview

Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a vibrant Central American holiday that honours those who have passed. To celebrate the holiday this November, Jose Cuervo will present The Day of the Dead Dome in the heart of the city.

Taking place for just two days as part of the SkyCity Carnaval Festival, the dome will encapsulate the colourful culture of Mexico through great tequila, authentic food and traditional games.

A pop-up margarita bar will allow visitors to create their own Jose Cuervo concoctions, while Mission Bay's Dos Amigos will be onsite serving fresh tacos from its mobile taqueria. Guests can enjoy music from the likes of Venezuelan-born DJ Arii Jade, try their hand at traditional Mexican games, create their own flower head garland, or look the part with face and body painting.

Free to attend, The Day of the Dead Dome will take place at SkyCity on Friday, 2 November and Saturday, 3 November. By sharing their experience with the tag #CuervoDome, visitors will also have an opportunity to win one of five double passes to Splore Festival.
