Overview
Kaytranada (nee Kaytradamus) is a Port-au-Prince-born, Montreal-raised DJ and producer who begun sliding the crossfader at the age of 14. A year later his brother introduced him to FL Studio and Kaytranada's output became prolific,"After he showed me the basics, from that day on I couldn't stop making beats," he told HW&W. Kaytranada started making a beat a day, self-releasing EPs and amasssing large numbers of plays on his various remixes at which point HW&W and Jakarta Records picked up the prodigy. Since then he's toured over 50 cities across the globe, supported Madonna's Rebel Heart tour and on May 6, he'll be releasing his debut album 99.9%.
