Overview

While his name might not seem directly familiar, the resumé of Kevin Mark Trail is an impressive one. Since cracking it with UK hip hop project The Streets and their breakout debut album Original Pirate Material, the London-born musician has ticked off supports slots for N.E.R.D and Massive Attack, and been remixed by the likes of Hot Chip.

Having travelled the world since 2004 with his unique blend of soul, reggae and hip hop, the multi-disciplined singer, MC and producer has also lent his talents to local acts including respected jazz man Nathan Haines and neo-soul act Sola Rosa.

In between managing his floating lifestyle and working on his next release, Trail will perform a set of solo material at Titirangi's The Refreshment Room on Wednesday 16 December. Ticket packages can be tailored to include a two or three-course meal at the restaurant.
