Looking for unique, locally made gifts for all your Christmas recipients this year? We know a spot. A giant ceramics market filled with handmade goods from both established and upcoming makers is coming to Auckland.

Family-owned business The Clay Centre is New Zealand's largest ceramics teaching school — fostering all the upcoming talent you'll probably soon see on the shelves of local gift stores.

Come Saturday, December 10—Sunday, December 11, all that talent will be on show at the Clay Centre's annual makers' market — with over 40 ceramicists and potters all in one place across two days. Whether you're looking for a new mug or bowl for your brekkie or some pieces to brighten up a bland space, you'll be able to shop happily knowing you're supporting some pottery hopefuls.

Cash and eftpos are both available across the two days, so grab a mate or a date and get shopping.
