Overview

Fresh from two sellout seasons at the 2019 New Zealand International Comedy Festival, Kura Forrester is back centre stage, but this time it's for one night only. Head to Q Theatre on Saturday, August 31 to see Kura's award-winning one-woman show, Kura Shoulda Woulda.

The comedian draws inspiration from her personal life, regaling the audience with tales of love, loss and hilarious family dynamics. As seen on Jono and Ben, Golden Boy and Educators, and in Basement Theatre's Work Do, Kura shares her contagious spirit for life with the audience as she unpacks both trials and triumphs, roasting family members, friends and acquaintances along the way.

Kura was the 2019 recipient of the Billy T Award and the show will leave you in no doubt as to why. Intermixed in her tales, she plays wildly fun and relatable characters throughout this fast-paced show of clever, Kiwi humour.

With a fresh, unique and disarming comedic style, Kura Shoulda Woulda is sure to be a sellout.
