Overview

October 12 is a day where Auckland City stays up late to put on a show for the night owls. As apart of Art Week, we have Late Night Art, exploring the creative spaces in a cloak of darkness.

Throughout the city centre, multiple galleries will stay open late so one can wander between and enjoy the experience. With exciting exhibitions, outdoor installations and live drawing classes there will be something for everyone.

Some of the most exciting things on offer include Peter Roche's Asylum, an exhibition situated across all six silos in Silo Park that uses the elements to showcase dark themes. Another high up on the list is Little High Street's live drawing class or portrait drawings at the Chancery. A popular option if you were lucky enough to get in quick (it's now sold out) is taking up a cycling or walking tour to peddle your way around the outdoor installations and transformations happening around Auckland.
