Overview

One of folk's brightest sparks, Laura Marling, is coming to New Zealand for a one-off show.

Only 25 years old but already boasting a handful of critically acclaimed albums, and adoring fans the world over, Marling arrives in New Zealand on the back of her most recent release, Short Movie. The songstress is wise beyond her years and we have a feeling this will be one not to be missed set. She will perform tracks from her much vaunted back catalogue as well as some much freer and looser tunes from her more daring new album.

Marling will be supported by New Zealand's own folk darling, Hollie Fullbrook aka Tiny Ruins. Fullbrook will perform a solo set that will showcase older stuff as well as new material from Hurtling Through, a collaborative EP with Hamish Kilgour of The Clean, set for release next month.

It is a unique chance to catch two very special songwriters at the peak of the their powers, performing at an iconic venue that should fit rather nicely.
