Overview
Leftfield were the crowned kings of dance music in the '90s. At their musical peak— and courtesy of their distinctive and loud brand of genre-bending techno— their album Leftism was nominated for the prestigious Mercury Prize and voted as one of the best ever. Sadly in the late '90s Leftfield broke up and ceased making music.
Over 15 years later they shocked the world and wowed fans with the release of Alternative Light Source, a full length album featuring the creative fusion of dub, reggae and house music that they were famed for. The genius of frontman Neil Barnes defined the record earning it the unanimous praise of critics and fans alike.
One year later they've found themselves in and amongst the international dance music scene again, coming to New Zealand to play one intimate show at Neck of the Woods on K Road. With an act of this quality you can guarantee tickets will go quick, so get in soon.
