Overview

Concrete Playground has one double pass to give away to Live at Six on Wednesday November 13. Email [email protected] with the subject line: LIVE AT SIX along with your mobile number to go in the draw.

When a video of a misbehaving news anchor goes viral, her network and the rival network go into overdrive trying to present their own version of events. Despite using the same footage they end up creating two vastly different news stories, each pushing their own agendas and racing towards that 6pm deadline - live on stage.

Live at Six allows audiences to take a voyeuristic look inside newsrooms and question whether what they are being shown is the truth, a version of it or not even close. Ethics go out the window as the race to package the footage begins. Bring your smartphone and what you record just might become part of the action in this interactive black comedy.
Starring Jess Robinson as anchor Jane Kenyon, Live at Six was written by Dean Hewison (How to Meet Girls from a Distance) and Leon Wadham (Lord of the Flies, Go Girls). They originally premiered the show in 2009 but have since revamped it significantly to reflect the rise of the iPhone Generation.
