Overview

Enjoy an evening of beautiful jazz at the museum this September.

Nathan Haines is one of New Zealand's best-known jazz instrumentalists. His debut album Shift Left is currently celebrating its 25th anniversary and remains the country's best-selling jazz release to date. Joining Haines on stage will be acclaimed composer, performer and pianist Jonathan Crayford. After 20 years in New York, Crayford continues to bring his music to all corners of the world, whilst working on two new albums.

The pair's music will fill the Grand Foyer of the Auckland War Memorial Museum and create a dreamy atmosphere for you to soak up. The museum's cafe will also be open and alcoholic drinks will also be available for purchase on the night.
