Overview

Kicking off a monster series at Tyler Street Garage this New Zealand Music Month is Wellingtonian Louis Baker.

Baker released his debut single, 'Even In The Darkness' expressing, “I wrote this song for my friends and family to reinvigorate the soul. It has the spirit of where ever we are, and whatever hardships we may be going through, we can change it”.

It is a huge testament to anyone's musical ability if they are accepted into the globally renowned Red Bull Music Academy, a feat that Baker has recently achieved. Additionally, he has supported international acts such as New Zealand heavyweights Fat Freddy's Drop and The Hypnotic Brass Ensemble (of Gorillaz fame).

Get down to Tyler Street to celebrate the beginning of another glorious month of New Zealand music.
