The latest prodigy to emerge out of the hip-hop hotbed of talent that is Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, Mac Miller comes to Auckland.

Self-taught from an early age Malcolm “Mac Miller” McCormick recorded his first songs in late 2007, taking influence from a variety of artists including Outkast, Lauryn Hill, A Tribe Called Quest and Big L. Soon he developed a style that saw his jaw-dropping freestyles and free-running flow develop a massive reputation in his home city and on the internet with videos surpassing 165 million views.

Mac released his debut studio album Blue Slide Park November 8th 2011, earning a number one chart position in the Billboard 200. His second albumin Watching Movies With The Sound Off drops next year.
