Overview

Just over one year since their last appearance in New Zealand performing for our country’s budding University students U.S rapper Macklemore alongside producer sidekick Ryan Lewis have announced their return.

The duo rose to fame when their breakout song Thrift Shop shot to the number one spot in the U.S and several other countries across the globe. In New Zealand alone the single is credited with four platinum certifications. Their second single, Can't Hold Us also peaked at #1 of the Hot 100 Chart, making Macklemore and Lewis the first duo in the Chart's history to have their first two singles both reach number 1.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis will be joined by London rapper Tinie Tempah who just dropped his latest album, Demonstration.

They will play Wellington's TSB Arena on Wednesday 12 March and Auckland's Vector Arena on Thursday 13 March, 2014.
