Overview

Decades ago, Chris Davids and Liam Ivory grew up in a small town north of London. Little did they know that years later they'd discover their shared love of music when they attended university together— eventually becoming Maribou State— one of the UK's most exciting electronic music acts.

Their sound is a unique combination of live instrumentation and electronic experimentation that has taken them around the world to sold out shows and massive festivals. They've released several much-loved EPs and viral remixes, as well as gained support from the industry's elite. They even played a headline set at Rhythm and Vines 2016-2017, which we can confirm was an absolute hummer.

For their latest visit Maribou State will be playing a two-hour DJ set at Cassette finishing at the school night friendly time of 10pm. Let the weekend come early and soak in the best new UK electronica this Thursday night.
