MASU Unleashed at Weta Workshop
Expect the unexpected during this evening of behind-the-scenes film action and delicious eats.
Overview
This is a collaboration we didn't see coming, but we're all about it. As part of Auckland Restaurant Month in August, fantastical film-effects workshop Wētā Workshop Unleashed is teaming up with Federal Street eatery MASU for a night of behind-the-scenes movie action and delicious fare.
For one night only, attendees of MASU Unleashed at Wētā Workshop will get a rare behind-the-scenes immersion into the horror, sci-fi and fantasy worlds of the studio — while being kept fed with delicious appetisers designed by restauranter and MASU owner Nic Watt along the way.
After you've had your mind sufficiently blown, you'll get to enjoy a four-course interactive Wētā Workshop-inspired dinner presented by Watt, with exclusive creations just for the evening promised. If previous Wētā Workshop creations are anything to go by, expect the unexpected.
Running on Friday, August 12, tickets cost $240 a head and they're already going fast. Organisers promise this dinner and event need to be seen to be believed, so come with an open mind and an empty belly.
