Overview
Calling all gherkin lovers — Joe McClure of American pickle company McClure's is dropping by Auckland to share his tricks of the trade this February. Following an appearance at extreme meat consumption festival, Meatstock, the McClure's Pickles co-founder will be hosting a pickling masterclass at Farro Fresh Grey Lynn.
Attendees will hear the story of how the Detroit-based company turned a family recipe into a multimillion-dollar business while getting some pickling 101 tips and pickling their own jar of dill-icious briny-delights. Tickets for the two-hour class on Monday, February 17 include pickle-inspired nibbles, light refreshments and a jar of McClure's pickles.
