Overview

As seen in such iconic siblinghoods as the ones shared between Kim, Kylie, Kendall, Khloe and Kourtney, Venus and Serena, the Bröntes and Mary Queen of Scots and Elizabeth I, the relationship between sisters can be anything from warm fuzzy-inducing and supportive to competitive as hell (even to the point of murder).

Me and My Sister Tell Each Other Everything draws inspiration from sisterhood in all its complexity. Written by Uther Dean and directed by Saraid Cameron, the play explores the love-hate relationship between sisters Murph and Jos Willcott when the two are forced together in their family home while "literally fighting for their lives". It is summed up by the show's creator as a "family-unfriendly play about sibling relationships set to song and hubris."

Uther Dean is a self-described writer, theatre maker and comic who has won various theatrical accolades such as the Chapman Tripp Theatre Award and the Best Solo Award at the New Zealand Fringe Festival.
