Merge Fundraiser Italian Dinner

Overview

Found along Karangahape Road since 2010, Lifewise Merge Cafe's modus operandi is ending homelessness. The busy cafe provides wraparound services alongside a hot meal to those in need of them, and brings together students, the homeless and local businessmen around large community tables.

On Thursday, 7 March, the not-for-profit cafe is hosting an authentic Italian dinner to raise funds so they can further help the community. Diners will be served a five-course set menu created by expert pasta maker Angelo Tredicucci. While the evening is built around fundraising, you won't be expected to clear out your bank account — it is a pay-as-you-feel event, and the entire feast has been valued by organisers around $35.
