Music on the Rooftop

Overview

The weather gods have been mostly kind to us in the last few days, which makes for the perfect opportunity to emerge from our fluorescent-lit offices and take in some rays on a rooftop with sea views while local artists serenade you.

Open Studios Waitakere's free event Music on the Rooftop promises exactly that. Hosted by John Goudge, the day features the psychedelic pop-rock from Toledo Springs, blues and rockabilly from The Recliner Rockers and fusion music from John Goudge himself too.

The rooftop gig forms part of Open Studios Waitakere's annual event where over 60 local artists open up their studios and minds for your inspection on your own self-guided tour through the Waitakere district.
