Overview

In need of a fancy excuse to do nothing else but drink New Zealand’s best wine on your Sunday? Look no further.

On 14 June the third annual Boutique Wine Festival is getting down at Fort Lane’s Imperial Building to celebrate the best boutique vineyards across New Zealand. Showcasing over 200 wines in a unique cellar door experience, you’ll get the chance to meet the winemakers behind our country’s best labels, participate in blind tasting sessions or – if you’re that person - join discussions led by influential wine commentators around prevalent topics within the industry. Otherwise you can just sit back, sip your new favourite rosé and enjoy some fancy schmancy live music (being so sophisticated and all).

Amidst the wine talk, guests will also be offered the opportunity to indulge in a tasting lunch menu at Everybody’s, take part in expert master classes and embark in a “vertical tasting” that sounds both mysterious and extreme, which means you should most definitely do it and then tell us about it later. Feel free to send us a bottle or five from your case while you’re at it.

Win one of five double passes to the Boutique Wine Festival. To enter, email [email protected] with the header "BOUTIQUE WINE FESTIVAL" and in 25 words or less the name of your favourite wine bar in Auckland and why.
