New Zealand International Film Festival
The New Zealand International Film Festival's smorgasbord of cinematic treats includes acclaimed films from Cannes, Linklater's Boyhood, a 3D film from Jean-Luc Godard, a documentary about Nick Cave, the sci-fi Snowpiercer, and Kiwi favourites like The Dark Horse and Housebound.
Overview
The 46th New Zealand International Film Festival is upon us. For two-and-a-half weeks you can immerse yourself in films from all over the globe. There are heaps of star-studded numbers along with more niche low budget films which most likely won't make it to the multiplexes.
A healthy dose of Kiwi films are included in the programme this year and organisers have chosen to hold the world premiere of The Dark Horse on opening night. Whatever kinds of films you're into, there's bound to be something that's up your alley. Early bird prices end on July 17 so what are you waiting for?
