Night at the Markets

Overview

Already hosting monthly food truck gatherings, French market La Cigale will build on the after-hours concept by bringing a full European night market to Parnell this May.

A selection of Auckland's finest food trucks will be parked outside under the fairy lights and heaters, while La Cigale will open up the market space to hawk its finest European delicacies — here's looking at you croque monsieur. Highlights include a one-off collaboration with European chippery Double Dutch Fries who will have the option of adding melted raclette to cones of hand-cut fries.

La Fromagerie will be onsite giving tasters of delicious French cheese; Cave du Cochon will showcase a range of new-wave low-intervention organic, biodynamic and natural wines from various regions of France; and an escargot raclette cart will complete the cheese-heavy experience.
